Junior Market
Rules
Junior Market participants must adhere to the following rules in order to participate in the program and at the Christmas Market. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

1. All participants must attend one Junior Market Training Session in order to be eligible to setup at table at the Christmas Craft Fair.
​
2. Vendors (Participants) must be 10 years to and including 17 years old.
3. A Parent or Guardian must be present at all times for all participants/vendors for the training session and the Christmas Market.
​
4. Participants will pay a $20.00 Deposit that will be refunded in full when they setup their table at the Junior Market Christmas Market on November 16, 2024.
​
5. Event organizer is not responsible for:
a.) lost, stolen, or damaged items of vendor
b.) injuries incurred during the event howsoever caused including, but not limited to, loading and unloading of displays or of items for sale.
​
6. Full Table size is 8 feet long by 3 feet wide. Half Table size is a table split in half 4 Feet Long.
​
7. Community Futures Tawatinaw Region reserves the right to deny a space and return payment to any vendor.
​
8. Community Futures Tawatinaw Region does not guarantee any vendor exclusivity. However, reasonable efforts will be made to ensure a wide selection of products and services are represented in the Jr. Market Christmas Craft Fair.
​
9. Youth Vendors must be in the Westlock Memorial Hall no later than 9:00am on November 16, 2024.
​
10. All vendors (tables, displays, products, etc.) must remain set up until 3:30pm on November 16th. All vendors are to be packed up and have all items removed by 5pm.
​
11. Participants may sell both handmade products and curated products at the Christmas Market.
​
12. Low Risk Home Baked Goods ONLY: See List Here
Low-risk home-prepared foods cannot contain meat, poultry, seafood, uninspected eggs or raw milk.
13. Home-prepared foods must be labelled with:

A statement similar to ‘prepared in a home kitchen that is not subject to inspection’

A statement similar to ‘not for resale’
-
Your name, your business name, your email and/or phone number
-
The name of the food and the date it was made or prepared
-
Note: Labels must be legible and can be a tag, sticker or card provided with the product.

Whole fresh fruits and vegetables do not need to be labelled

14. No MLM (Multi-level Marketing) Businesses.
​
15. The purpose of Jr. market is to showcase the talents and products created or procured by the participating youth ONLY. We ask that No items created or supplied by parents or other adults be sold.
​
16. No personal services businesses such as: facepainting, makeup, tattooing, permanent make-up, body piercing, any other procedure that penetrates skin, make up, hair services, manicures and pedicures, lasers, henna etc.
​
